Recall: Cosmetics containing Butylphenyl methylpropional (Lilial) – Chemical risk

The recalled products (shampoos, creams, deodorants, shower gels, perfumes, conditioners, hair lacquers, toners, make-up remover wipes, after-shaves and hair masks) contain the allergen Butylphenyl methylpropional (Lilial), which has been classified as toxic to reproduction and to the health of the fetus, and may in some cases cause skin sensitization, and all products containing these ingredients in their formulation have been withdrawn from the market.

These products do not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.

Italy and Lithuania have notified the withdrawal of these products from the market.
