Market withdrawal: Cosmetics with Butylphenyl methylpropional (Lilial) – Chemical risk
The recalled products (perfume) contain the allergen Butylphenyl methylpropional (Lilial), which has been classified as toxic to reproduction and to the health of the fetus, and may in some cases cause skin sensitization, and all products containing this ingredient in their formulation have been withdrawn from the market.
This product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
Hungary has notified the withdrawal of this product from the market.
Market withdrawal: Cosmetic with Burkholderia Cepacia bacteria – Microbiological risk
The recalled product (micellar water) is contaminated with the bacterium Burkholderia Cepacia. This bacterium can cause certain illnesses in consumers, especially those with weaker immune systems.
This product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
France has notified the withdrawal of this product from the market.
Market withdrawal: Cosmetic with large amounts of bacteria and molds – Microbiological risk
The recalled product (tooth powder) has an excessive amount of bacteria (3 × 10^5 CFU/g) and molds (Rhizopus spp. and Aspergillus sp). These bacteria can cause infections in the most vulnerable individuals and molds are dangerous for immunodeficient patients.
This product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
Germany has notified the withdrawal of this product from the market.
